Reason why a video game MIGHT make someone do this

Remember, Beta-7 found a subliminal message inside the crash cam mode. Crash cam mode is not only in first person, but closer to the ground, which is where he saw the subliminal message hidden (perhaps it could be in other places as well, such as the crowd, sky, rain, etc.)

So, we all know that movie theatres put subliminal pictures into their films to have movie goers crave popcorn, Coca Cola, etc.

In Segas mail list letter that they have recently sent out, they said that they "Try to bring the most realistic possible experience" or something along those lines.

Could it be possible that subliminal messages hidden in the game, if they appear often enough, send the user into a trance like state, and follow out those subliminal messages?

Maybe not, but think about it this way. It could have been easy for the programmers of this game to put subliminal messages in, rather than just ordinary, boring grass, to encourage the user to get more riled up about having the first person view of a football player. The beta testing would have proved the game had too much of a subliminal effect on players, so that is why they changed the game around and pushed back the release date. The one thing that it wouldn't explain though, is why it would carry out even when the game is over, at random times.

Or maybe, I'm just really *CENSORED*in' high. That could be it X)
