I work at EB and we got our shipment of ESPN NFL Football today and there is a sticker on them that says:
"First Person Football Feature has been temporarily disabled. When this feature becomes available you can unlock it by downloading a patch from XBOX LIVE, or register for a free upgrade (S & H extra)."
Does this have something to do with this crazy website? My manager thinks it does.

How come the guy that was hit gets up so fast and just walks away? Shouldn't he be down on the floor in pain? And even if he did get up fast, wouldn't he try to get a hold of the tackler to report him to the police or security?
Also 2+2=5, I had thought that same thing. There seems to be so many people having these blackouts, but only .5% of people are supposed to get them? I highly doubt they made 2000+ people beta test this game.

I don't know why some people might not have the sticker on their game but all the ones we have are marked that way that's all I know.
I haven't played it so I don't know if it is really disabled or what, but the sticker is on there.

FPF disabled would explain why Beta-7 hasn't filed an injunction.

If it is true that these stickers are on the boxes and that the game's fp has been disabled, then beta-7 gonna have less of a case. I guess it got to them at sega and vc and decided to disable the fp until things get right. Beta-7, wat u gonna do now that the fp is disabled?, cus now no one else would get these so called 'blackouts'.

Apparently the games shipped to stores have FPF disabled but the ones shipped to people who preordered from espnvideogames.com do not.
I'm guessing that they will probably disable the FPF mode when those people log into xbox live if they are waiting to settle a case.

If this video took place in the first week of August in HOT-lanta, why in the hell were both of the guys wearing pants and sweatshirts/jackets? August is typically the hottest month of the summer and Atlanta is a city notorious for its heat. As many other things on this site seem to me, this seems a bit off.

We got a message from corporate saying that anyone who preordered and doesn't want it can get a refund on unopened copies so it is going to be a nightmare dealing with people.
This is a disaster for Sega, they better figure it out quick and unlock it.
Or maybe some xbox hackers will figure out how to unlock it...
