He wouldn't have known that they could've had it close to being finished at the time that the memo was sent.

What are you talking about?
Posted by: Zak at July 23, 2003 12:14 PM

Posted by: at July 23, 2003 01:34 PM
Why don't you call the number on the bottom of the pages??????????? I doubt that would be an automated response
Posted by: Timster at July 23, 2003 02:50 PM
Yo!
So you're announcing that the NFL2K4 release date will be postponed?
From Sept. 2 to Sept. 25?????
So Beta, how is it working at Sega? Good benefits? Any hot chicks in marketing? Payroll? Lots of geeky software engineers? Are they hiring?

Well, my guess is that this whole thing is a visual concepts and/or sega sports project. The rest of Sega doesn't know whats going on(what else is new). Its not we have never seen the different departments of Sega working aginst the others. Remember back before they announced they were dropping the Dreamcast? Right before that happend there were alot of rumors flying around that Sega would develop for other platforms. Sega of japan denied these rumors while Sega of Europe confirmed them ALL IN THE SAME DAY.
As for the phone numbers, not only should you call them but you need to fix the bottom of the memo so we can actualy read those numbers.

If this is a disguised way of telling us that the game is being delayed then fuck you.
Posted by: at July 23, 2003 05:28 PM
the addy and phone numbers on the letterhead are the same as you posted on the discussion board, slayer:
Visual Concepts Entertainment, Inc.
One Thorndale Drive, Suite 300
San Rafael, CA 94903
tel: 415-479-3634
fax: 415-479-3622
i am going to call them, but i want to record the calls, and am looking into the best way of doing this. me and beta-13 have some plans up our sleeves...
And this in not my "disguised" way of telling you anything, anonymous, other than these assholes obviuosly have something to hide about this game, but as far as im concerned i hope the damn thing keeps getting pushed back into oblivion and never gets released!

Does your friend who "unshredded" the document work for the CIA? Because that's basically the only way that's possible.
Posted by: at July 23, 2003 07:16 PM
What kind of logic is that? Someone managed to put some shredded papers back in order so they are in the CIA? I wish it was that easy to get a job with the CIA. I would probably be running the CIA if that was the case.
Posted by: Sega Slayer at July 23, 2003 07:39 PM
I would imagine that these so call shredded papers were shredded along with hundreds of other papers. What is the chance she would unshred these papers out of hundreds of thousands of little shreds. Why on earth would VC even shred these documents?? There is no need to.
Posted by: at July 23, 2003 10:38 PM
shhh its all part of the great sega conspiracy
Posted by: at July 23, 2003 11:27 PM
i wonder if anyone has actually looked at the date of this memo?
Posted by: at July 23, 2003 11:44 PM
Well of course it was shredded along with hundreds of other papers. I admit it would be hard to find all the parts of one page but I guess it just takes alot of work. Its not impossible or requires a super computer from the future or anything.
Of course someone looked at the date. That was mentioned in his post. Why?
Posted by: Sega Slayer at July 23, 2003 11:49 PM
yes these memos were "distroyed"
Posted by: at July 24, 2003 11:00 AM

Posted by: Sega Slayer at July 24, 2003 05:28 PM

Is the new ESPN Football by Visual Concepts and NFL2K4 going to be 2 separate games? I'm confused by this as the new ESPN Football game has the same designer team as the NFL2K series and seems to have much in common. Anybody know the answer here?
Thanks,
Emory
