If you get time could you post video, or pix of the in game menus of franchise mode. Like the depth chart menu, and stats. Because that one thing i hope they changed from last year, and made it more like Madden.

I already recommended DivX... it works on everything and is more or less free. best of all, it doesnt screw up your file associations like quicktime does...

For all of you bashing Sega for this mode, you better get used to it. Over at IGN.com they just released news on EA's NHL 2004 franchise mode, complete with a GM's office that you can buy furniture and decorations with, based on how well you do in the game. So, all you madden fan-boys, when you're playing Madden 2005 and designing your little "crib", just remember who did it first. Unfortunatly, Sega doesn't know much about mass marketing, so noone other than the hardcore will ever realize ESPN football did it first, because noone outside the hardcore ever buys the game.

EA will have sims features in their game, soon you can date the girl selling bevarges in the stand at a football stadium as a GM, and pick flowers for your date in between the games your team is playing. So madden bitchboys quit moaning, Madden is pokemon hotdog simulator. And with those fat goofy football players in madden , I am sure you will be able to choose food for your players soon too.

Madden 2005 will need to have crib mode, because they'll need to catch that "niche" of gamer. Sure, most of us hardcore fans think its rather pansy, but for the typical female fan crowd (no offense to the die-hard females out there) this mode is going to draw in the dough. EA can't stand to be one uped, so they'll throw it in. As for Owner mode, its going to rock, but is it really that big of a deal? All of the truly hardcore owner-types out there are already playing Front Office Football, the game Madden ripped off all its idea from.

The only thing Madden has over Front Office Football is the ability to play the games on the field, instead of doing it stat based. And who wants a game locked into third person all the time? Thats old news. We're talking american football here, in the USA! Come September, first person football is going to be where its at. Literally playing face to face online on Xbox live, thats the stuff that changes the industry. Don't be surprised if thats in a future Madden version too!

hi this is ricky williams,at least i can spell my name right daunte! anyways some games out there might look as good or better than madden but they dont play as well . Gameday is choppy NFL2k or ESPN is like ice skating on the feild 2k and 2k2 were the best in that series though.Point being madden is the most complete game out there no matter where they pull there ideas from. And why are you guys dissing owner mode you know you can turn that off just like the commentary . sissies
